Seen any good movies lately, fellas?

I'm watching Killing Them Softly on Netflix, it's pretty terrific. However, the message of criminals being influenced by the "criminals" involved in the financial crisis, in Washington and Wall Street, is over the top and obvious.

Post your movie recommendations, faggots.

There will be blood

Masterpiece.

Yeah? Are you "all in"?

I want to like that movie so much but I just cant.

PTA is one of my absolute favorite directors, and Boogie Nights is probably my favorite movie of all time. I fucking live Punch Drunk Love, The Master and Magnolia. I just can't get into TWBB as much as I try. I've seen it three times. I've argued about this with my friend. I just can't love it, but I respect it so much I feel like there's something wrong with me.

Same reason I don't like the Big Lebowski, even though that seems like the ultimate up my alley comedy from directors/writers of whom I've loved every single other project they've ever done. I just get bored.

You gave it a chance and didnt like it, its better than pretending you liked it.

Mel Gibson's latest "Blood Father" was good.

Seen it last night and yes, it was good

Watch Mulholland Drive and try not to miss all of the transcendent beauty while you're jacking off to the lesbo action, fuckface.

Blue is the Warmest Color has better lesbo action faggot.

You gotta respect a movie that has some good scissoring.

But the movie sucks.

Meh, it was fine. My only complaint is that it's way too long. I think it's a little over 3 hours?

SILENCIO SILENCIO SILENCIO

tss I heard Ghostbusters is pretty good tss

I thought casting Melissa McCarthy as Stay Puft was genius.

I thought casting Leslie Jones as the abrasive negress was also genius

Watch Oldboy (2003), ya faggot. You won't regret it.

korean movies always are terrible, like that idiotic train movie

snow piercer was the shit

Yeah it was

retarded shit more like, did u know they hack off their own arms and legs, hold it in the air and tell the rest of the passenger to feast on matey! how retarded is that

You see... that is called a movie. Sometimes, when I watch them, I suspend my disbelief and enjoy the content.

some times they are too retarded to be enjoyable, its acceptable if its some cartoon shit like super heroes movie, but the train movie tried to pass itself off as some realistic serious shit. and that korean super hacker guy is absolutely terrible

I saw the devil was fucking amazing and I hate Asian horror movies ( it's more of a serial killer movie )

looks good i will chekc it out. btw do u guys have a schedule on the chatroom?

I'm planning to have a horror movie night on fridays or Saturdays during the month of October.

Ever see "A History of Violence" or "Eastern Promises"?

Also "Thief", it's a Michael Mann movie from 1982 starring James Caan. It has a pretty good soundtrack from Tangerine Dream. I made a multi-lingual Chip joke about it in another sub and I don't think it was appreciated.

Thief is a beast of a film. That beach scene...

Watched Get the Gringo or whatever with Mel Gibson. Pretty entertaining.

Saw that on netflix and it was really good, sad he didnt rant about jews thou

Watched Blended & 50 First Dates - back to back!!

I was HOWLING!! - I'm ALL IN with the Sandler.

Both those movies have 10000 moments of product placement, sandler is a whore

No Country For Old Men is on Netflix.

Watched Free State of Jones the other night too. Fucking horrible movie.

Saw Ex Machina for the third time last night. Great fucking movie.

Gremlins 2

Legend, the one where Tom Hardy plays the Cray twins.

Lakeview Terrace

I watched this recently. It's like pacific heights-ish.

cant believe nobody like it tho, i remember having a good time watching sam jackson fucking with that cracka azz cracka

The witch is the best movie of the year easily. The neon demon wad pretty gun goo.

Check out Scorcese's best film, in my humble opinion: Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore. Seriously. Or his second best film "Life Lessons" a 40 minute short from the mid 80s' 'New York Stories' starring Nick Nolte, Rosanna Arquette, and Steve Buscemi. Both are great.

Worlds greatest dad, starring robin Williams was vurry good. It's on Netflix

The Invitation just came on. Fucked up movie with one of my favorite actors, Jason Bateman, and an underrated actress and piece of ass, Rebecca Hall.

Easy Money

American Gangster was pretty good.

Most interesting part was Russel Crowe's character. Sad to see an honest cop deal with degenerates. It was also cool to see Anthony be his partner early on.

Just watched 10.0 Earthquake on Hulu, has Desmond from Lost and its fucking awful, but you'll laugh your ass off.

"Mystery Road" on Netflix.

Anomalisa wasn't as good as I wanted it to be but I'd still recommend it if you want to watch something depressing

I just seen The Gueat and it was pretty good.

Watched new Rob Zombie on vod last night (titled 31). If you like his style you'll be entertained. Whacked out to the max.

Today I finally saw Don't Think Twice, former show regular Mike Birbiglia's comedy about an NYC improv troupe. I thought it was excellent. I liked Gillian Jacobs so much in it I'm currently watching the Crapatow co-production series Love on Netflix. Anyway, Mike B. has carved out a good directorial niche for himself. His debut Sleepwalk with Me is on Netflix, and is also very good.

Last week I saw the new Blair Witch, which had some good spook out moments but is little more than a louder, flashier and dumber rehash of the seminal original.

Kill yourself. :)

My broad put on it follows last night. I expected to hate it but it was pretty decent. Definitely a original idea in the dying horror genre (at least in America).

I watched Bad Grandpa.5 today. It was OK, not a bad way to kill an hour and a half. Not really a movie though, more of a behind-the-scenes look at the movie with all the bits that got cut out. Wouldn't watch it again, but it's not bad for a few chuckles.

Also, has anybody seen Snowden yet?

Did you follow it up by watching Righteous Kill?

I thought casting Leslie Jones as the abrasive negress was also genius

Seen it last night and yes, it was good
