He has a show? What is he, 4? Ok, I get Ozzy having a show, he's the Prince of Darkness, ya know? He's Ozzy, man. But no grown man should have a show. He should be out getting cops to fuck his wife like a real man.

Jim Florentine is funny imo. I enjoy listening to his cmm podcasts but totally get that his comedy is not for everybody. I've been listening to him for years and haven't heard anything terrible he's done until i heard his show on opie radio and thought it was bad. I do think that his cohosts or friends or whoever he had on as guests (except for don jameson) on his 1st show were unfunny and didn't help Jim build on the show to make it better. I think him being on opie radio and not following his cmm formula from his podcasts makes his show worse and not appealing. Especially for new listeners who may not be familiar with his comedy or for fans that are looking for his podcast humor and content.

I tapped out of his podcast long before episode Awful Vanity License Plates #5.

Roland does a much better job of that show than I thought he would. Probably because it's a topic he really cares about.

I can't listen to more than an episode without wanting to impersonate his awful monotone delivery. Jim just needs to stick to terrorizing telemarketers.
