I think everyone always sorta knew that they were both assholes. But since Ant got the boot it has become all the more apparent how terrible Opie really is, and that Ant kind of is the racist pedo creep they always joked around saying he was.
I remember years ago not being nearly as averse to Opie. I guess because he wasn't forced onto center stage to showcase his anti-charisma like after Ant got the boot.
I think I joined this sub sometime after that point, although I did lurk for a while before that.
Yeah that's pretty much same for me. Just listening to old shows you kind of realize how "steering the ship", just meant shutting down anything funny going on to assert control.
There's no question that Ant really fucked up and got himself. But as sure as I can be without clairvoyance, I strongly believe Opie took it as an opportunity to be rid of Ant behind the scenes. It just seemed so obvious.
it was Joe that I think put a bounty out for information if I remember correctly, he couldn't even get doxxing right, btw... he just posted my linkedin account. Not that big of a deal really, but yea... thats the story. Also, not a trucker anymore, using my VA benefits to go back to school. :D

I didn't start posting here until after just after Anthony got fired. The Opie hatred was already full force. I think it was mostly about him being a traitor at that point, but most people realized he sucked as a broadcaster too, which became even more apparent after Ant was gone. There was still hope for Ant's new show, he has no bosses, no rules, and he can do whatever he wants now. Which is exactly what he did, talked about niggers and guns nonstop. So after a few months of that, most people were sick of him too. Sprinkle in the greggshells/human-garbage teenage girl gossip shit, which is funny, but it made it perfectly clear what pathetic losers they both are.
