I just gave his special the one star review it deserved. I think you guys should do the same. Give this nobody the DeRosa treatment.

The star ratings aren't overall quality ratings people can manipulate, it's Netflix saying how likely it is that you will like it. All you did was angrily tell Netflix you don't much care for it.

Really? I didn't know that. Does that mean everyone sees different ratings for things?

Yes, but I think it does factor in to some degree for global ratings. For example, things that are clearly shitty always seem to have 1 star. I haven't seen many awesome things that have 1 star, either.
Maybe Netflix just gets me, though.

It factors in a lot. Netflix said some of their original shows got a one-star according to my taste. It almost makes me want to see how bad that DJ show is.

Yeah,me and my girlfriend have separate accounts and I can see the same movie different on hers. What Netflix is trying to do is make a perfect recommendation algorithm rather than a system for ranking movies. Not to get off on a bug faggy tech talk but a lot of big companies see recommender engines as the future, even more than search engines.

They still track it, though. If everyone 1 stars some dudes stand up do you think they'll commission another?

Eh hmm ... Keith Robinson's special

Yeah if it turns out everyone in the world doesn't like it they will know, but everyone in the world seems to like Stranger Things so don't count on them.

Does it not impact the ratings for people who have similar tastes as you do?
3 TriangleDimes 2016-09-07
Maybe, but nobody has the same tastes as me I'm well known for being a bit of a Film Buff ha ha

Then why is it 2 stars for everybody I've asked?
1 TriangleDimes 2016-09-07
Probably cause that's the default and they don't watch a lot of comedy specials. Most shit on there is 2 or 3 stars.

Normand said that before he faced off against this guy on Roastmasters that over 20 comics texted him that he better win. Comics hate this cocky piece of shit

I love Mark, but divide that by 4-5 to get the actual number. He deals in lies, hyperbole, and exaggeration.

Ah-heeeeeeeeeeehhhhhh

I don't recall Normand mentioning him by name.

Ah. I saw him on YKWD and he menrioned it but didn't name the guy.
1 kevin121312 2016-09-07
He mentioned him on YKWD and named him. They were talking about Tony and he talked about people emailing and texting him.
1 kevin121312 2016-09-07
He said it on YKWD.

Nice try but he opens for Jeff Ross so i'm afraid your 1 star review is invalid, the jews have already decided you like him so you better get used to him goy.
0 ArmchairFabio 2016-09-07
That explains Ross making Mark go first both times. Jewish nepotism is really shitty...
1 joomommyhappy 2016-09-07
...but it's a small price to pay for that delicious Jewish cuisine.

Yeah I post here, so of course. Anything else stupid?
1 Sike_Midtown 2016-09-07
No. Get better, though. You have to like the same things as me to be cool.
