It's rarely true though. It's not a closed court & he has no jury to taint. I thought the case finalised , he was convicted, case closed. Now on a good behaviour bond to have part of his conviction quashed 6 months from conviction so he can get his guns back.

Only for public relations, nothing to do with his conviction. If he says he's drinking, while a condition of his good behaviour bond is that he doesn't drink he's fucked, but he's not that senile yet.
He can say what he likes about the court case relationg to his guilty conviction. It's a matter of public record. He chooses to pretend he can't.
