Otto and George in the 80s (sounds like Dice ripped off the voice as well as the rhymes)

He claimed on O&A that after Dice started blowing up by doing them that a lot of comics would come up to him and say he was being ripped off. Otto played it off like fuck it I'm done with them anyways like Louie and the asshole bit. I was going to post the clip next time I stumbled across it because it's an interesting talking point. I don't give a fuck about Leslie Jones or any of the Ghostbusters movies.

I hear you. Big differences between Otto and Louie are ambition and drug addiction. On talent they were on the same level, but Otto is dead now.

I don't think you get what I mean. Louis said that he used to do a bit about how great it must be to just say fuck it I'm an asshole and just do shitty things like park in a handicap spot. Denis Leary, the biggest douchebag on the planet, took the hype from doing Hicks's act and parlayed it into a huge song cd where he did the asshole bit as a song. Louie said fuck it I'm over that stupid bit anyways. Otto said the same thing about Dice's nursery rhymes. Unless you actually did understand me and then just added the second part to the conversation. I haven't slept in two days but yes Otto was a talented motherfucker and Louie put the work in for a ridiculous amount of time.

Let's agree to agree

I agree

I've heard that clip before, and was aware Dice ripped off the rhymes. Do you hear the voice I'm talking about. Dice's gay/woman voice sounds a lot like Otto's voice in this clip.

Here's a clip of Otto telling the story on Stern. He says Dice took the bit all the way across country and started doing it in LA and word got back to Otto he was stealing from him. Otto says he didn't care because he considered it his old material. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CLJAbFUN49c#t=00m06s

Otto's mentioned more than a few times on the show that Dice

got his nursery rhyme bit from him. That people would call Otto

while Dice was on stage and hold out the phone so he could hear it

in real time! lol Otto, gracious guy that he was, always said:

"Good for Dice. He did something with it & made it work."

Awww Otto

I never got to see him.I'm not a member of the Moose club,Shriners,VA,or Fireman or the Knights of Columbus. ......His career was one notch below Jim Norton.....Funny guy no doubt. When's the Otto benifit?
