This is mostly what Reddit is. Places like this sub are not the norm. Reddit is mostly made up of shills for various politicians and corporations and boring people posting dank memes or feel good fluff guaranteed to get thousands of upvotes from miserable people trying to shut out the horrors of reality.
I unsubscribe from all of the default subreddits for this reason. However, before I logged in yesterday I saw this pic and I wanted to slam my face through my keyboard. All of the comments were positive, you go gurl type shit. Is no one going to address how fucking weird it is that those two people are actually a couple? If you try to bring it up you'll get downvoted and called a trump supporter or some shit.
