How come Jim still hasn't done a Netflix special?

Seriously, I've seen far worse comics than him get Netflix deals, like Mike Epps and Theo Von, to name a few, so why isn't Jimmy on there? Shitty agent? Stale material?

He's afraid he'll be influenced by other comics who have done Netflix specials.

Because he's not a very good comedian

This is the correct answer

Same shit material, lack of internal drive, fear of failure, and who would really watch other than us?

Agreed, but I'd take him over hacks like Chris D'Elia and Gabriel Iglesias any day of the week. Are those guys popular? At least Jim's got a big audience on a fairly big platform.

Yeah they're popular
5 rahtin 2016-08-22
D'Elia is relevant. Fluffy is famous as fuck. Not sure where you're going with this.

His dumbass thought Hulu was the better option

He's insanely out of touch

And he's arrogant too. I bet he thinks he's on the same level or higher as guys like Bill Burr and Jim Jefferies.
Edit: I like Jim's stand up, but after hearing him bitch about the most mundane things imaginable on his live streams and on the show, I wonder how hard it must be to work with the guy.

Or have to deal with him asking anyone famous for pictures and autographs. I guarantee you that probably held him back from going to the next level. He's at a party or something that a normal person couldn't get into and pulling that shit, embarrassing

He's gotta get over that shit. He's in his 50s for fuck's sake.

I thought it was Epix or some shit like that
2 WiretapStudios 2016-08-22
He's had at least two on Epix right? I seem to remember at least two cringe-worthy opening videos, one with Ozzy and one with Michael K. Williams.
5 dankfranklin 2016-08-22
And didn't they both have the same joke? "Haha, what if I was gay?"
3 WiretapStudios 2016-08-22
Yep. It was a masturbatory celebrity humiliation joke that only worked for Jimmy himself and not for the audience.
2 SHITLORD_CUNTDICK 2016-08-22
It's worse than that. He thought EPIX was the better option. No one knows what Epix is.
2 PharoahFaucet 2016-08-22
You can only go to where you have an option to go.
5 Dennyislife 2016-08-22
He was tied into epix which was also on netflix. They then went off netflix. His next special isn't on epix.
3 herpacin 2016-08-22
Why do that when you can just crowdfund comic snakeoil every few months?
3 [deleted] 2016-08-22
Knowing his business sense, he probably signed himself up for a 20 year exclusive deal with Epix.
2 TheScarletR 2016-08-22
He's had like three on there I think, might have all been Epix ones though. Please be Offended and the last one were on there. I don't think Netflix has paid him to do one the way they did for Bill Burr and others though.
2 AngeloMacon 2016-08-22
Because Netflix doesn't give specials to middle acts.
2 CowsAreCurious 2016-08-22
Because Netflix wants people to watch their specials.
1 eastriverdriveII 2016-08-22
They won't give Anthony an EP credit.
1 stinkskc 2016-08-22
Probably has a shitty agent just like all of the people he gets to work for him
1 TakesTheWrongSideGuy 2016-08-22
He mentioned he liked working with Epix and alot of his specials made it to Netflix.
1 SteveTech74 2016-08-22
Simple answer....he's a fucking worm!
1 Clibanarius 2016-08-22
If only he knew someone who did Netflix specials so he could poorly attempt to emulate them.

He keeps asking Netflix the same question.
