I don't know if you've tried his podcast, there are laughs now and then but overall it's fucking ponderous. And now he's stuck in that same vortex as Anthony, former radio star with dwindling fame, behind a paywall no one's going anywhere near. But I'm still a fan too, he's a good guy. And he never stangled anybody.
I heard him explain the pay wall thing on another podcast. Basically he gets all of the profits directly from the pay wall and he has about 5k subs which amounts to about 400k a year.
In Artie's defense, I think he owned up to this and many other times that he was an asshole on the air. Additionally, there were hundreds of hours of that show in which he was really funny.

I think he's a good egg. But must have been an absolute fucking nightmare to know or work with.
