It seems as though there is a lot of negative opinion about Opie on this forum and I simply do not understand it.

I have been listening to Opie a lot recently, including his new afternoon show yesterday, and I think he's simply fantastic. Because of him I've been exposed to hip new bands, such as The Black Keys and The MGMTs, that a single mother like me would otherwise never hear.

I also particularly enjoy his inoffensive take on news and current affairs, free from the vulgar language that so often pollutes our airwaves. The guests he has on, such as Vic Henley and Sherrod Small are also great, although admittedly I sometimes struggle to make out what Sherrod is saying.

Overall I think Opie provides great entertainment that's fun for the whole family. 5 stars from me!
