Sam and Jim is actually a good show. You can tell they don't hate each other and the energy in the room feels a lot lighter. If Jim stayed at SXM but instead of hosting a show with Opie he did it with Sam I wouldn't blame him. Just put them on a different channel so ParanOpie don't try to sabotage them.
What's likely going to happen is Opie will move to afternoons with Vic, Sherrod, and maybe DiStefano, while Jim takes over mornings with Sam. Both shows will get comics from the same circles to regularly come on as guests. That seems to be what the majority of people here expect, anyway.
NBC and sitcom don't seem to add up to a successful result, in my mind. Even if Chris doesn't become part of the show, I'm sure Opie will make him a regular. Listen to how giddy he gets when the kid walks in. He considers him a good pal.

I will NEVER understand HOW people HATE OPIE, but LIKE stupid SAM!!! They are the SAME person!!! They are UNINFORMED about EVERYTHING. Neither is FUNNY. Both are MEAN-SPIRITED dicks. JIM and ANT could be DICKS, but it wasn't their GO-TO "joke". SAM and OPE lie to GET attention when the FOCUS is on SOMEONE else. They both can't take ANY criticism or EVER be the SUBJECT of FUN. They have to ATTACK someone else to SHIFT focus (usually it's POOR lazy EROCK).
