Well that probably is a factor right? He's gotta do it all on a shoestring budget now. I'm guessing he's just attempting to reconfigure the entire project. If he just takes the hardcore fans notes, maybe brings in a funny writer or 2, and then hires an experienced adult swim alumni maybe he can actually make this thing good and profitable and get it on tv. He made an awful project and when it came out and everyone made fun of him and buried him for it he had to reconfigure the entire project. A whole new format, rewritten, probably a new animation studio....if you want it to be good it's obviously gonna take time
