Yes, Jerry was awful. I was so annoyed, thinking he has actually tapped into prep burger with that whole state sentator and the subsidized private pools bit. But apparently, state senator Tim Kemper is a running bit on Jerry's podcast. Every last aspect of that fake phone call was so obviously rigged, except Jerry didn't let his comedian cohost (Sam Morril and Greg Stone) in on the bit. Thankfully, the first real caller to confront Tim Kemper shut him down and ended the bit, by distracting Jerry and getting him off topic.
Jerry was invited to do two hours of radio on the channel, and wasn't confident enough going in to not have a set up fake bit.
