She was discovered on Newgrounds and did some stuff with Troma. They're like parodies of 1940s cartoons and John k's cartoons- very spastic movement style. I think she's like a modern day Ralph Bakshi. Watching her best cartoons is like finding out what it's like to be mentally ill- that's not hyperbole, I mean that in a very literal sense- people with Dissociative-personality disorder have said they're a very accurate representation of the illness. In other words, they're not just crazy and twisted for its own sake, it serves an emotional purpose for the character.
She's also known in Philadelphia as the "Pistachio Girl"- she sells pistachios at Phillies baseball games, and now she's a Trump fan- which is what this interview is about. She's a smart cookie.
Sometimes Gavin's hipster faggotry pays off- I'm glad he was able to find out who she was, Cumia would never have the curiosity to seek out an obscure underground animator like her.
