Terrestrial radio gets ratings and that's directly tied to ad revenue. How does it work for satellite radio?

We've got talent and staff salary cost to put on the show and then ad revenue which gets you profit or loss.

Would profit or loss change if there was less talent salary due to hiring an "up and coming" comic to fill the seat and less listeners (who knows maybe not) without Jimmy there.

How much does Sammy make? Got to be a lot less than Jimmy.

Jim is a shell of his former self. Many days depending on what comics Opie has in Jimmy doesn't even talk. In their latest spat Jimmy brought up that Opie doesn't get Jims okay before brining in comics.

None. Not a single person subscribes just for Opie, let alone Jimmy. They could leave and it would not effect the numbers at all.

This will not be accurate in a few months when SXM will be able to tell exactly how many subscribers are listening to each channel and when.

Every personality at SXM should be terrified that the company will soon be able to decipher that data because people like Opie, Andy Cohen, Jenny McCarthy and other "names" will never receive another lucrative contract from SXM because the data will reveal that the big music channels (decades, mix, hits one and a few others) account for like 75% of subscribers and sports, traffic and Howard 20% and all the other garbage 5%.
