Same thing happened after the Stangels aftermath. Somehow Pete Davidson made up with them but Opie is still on bad terms because he didn't feel like reaching out.
I'm just skimming through it to try and find the parts people have been talking about on here. How the fuck anyone listens to this on a daily basis I have no idea.
This show is so fucking boring and terrible. There's so much great entertainment out there, hell there's even bad entertainment out there but at least the creators of it are trying their best. But this... there is just no reason for this show to exist.
Vic references seeing it on a paper that's in the studio. Papers they insist on having multiple copies of that I'm sure they've screamed at interns and producers for not providing.
3:24:00 for the start of the awkwardness. Wow that was actually worse than I expected. I cannot see how Jimmy is gonna carry on in October. You could tell him and Opie really wanted to go at it but were desperately just trying to get to the end of the show.
I hate Opie constantly saying how DL 'does great radio' in this clip. I hate what Opie thinks great radio is. The more I hear the things he thinks the more I realize that he had nothing to do with the show's prior success.
Two guys talking baseball while two guys who dont watch baseball sulk and look for places to jump in. Gregs fake radio voice. Rehashing a story from yesterday about the surviving member of Men At Work talking to substitutes.
Much worse than I expected. Jimmy has had enough. I don't even think he considers himself a cohost anymore. Clearly opie doesn't care what Jim does in October if he really said that he should check out while dl was on. That was probably put much more softly on air than what really happened.
Vic Henley also giving subtle jabs at Jim during that segment. He's really pushing for that second seat and trying to get in opie's head. Just really too bad that Jim and opie can't keep it together until October and try to be civil and have a clean break. Looks like that is on opie though.

Stupid: "I-I-I told Jimmy he should have reached out."
Jimmy: "That's true, but you don't actually do that with people."
Stupid: "I-I-I certainly have."
Jimmy: "Good for you."
Jimmy obviously calling out Stupid's hypocrisy with Ant, which probably flew right over his peabrain.

Just getting through the 7 minute dl segment was very irritating. And to think people pay to hear that...

Opie told Jim to step out for an hour? What a shitty person he is.
2 GRIZx 2016-07-26
Anyone know the time stamp for when DL and Jimmy talk about their shitty bosses? I'm on mobile.
2 whoaDAVIDwhoa 2016-07-26
it's somewhere in the last 12 minutes, that's the best i'm willing to do.

Thanks dude, there's no way I could make it through this entire borefest.

How could somebody thats been in radio since he was 18 have such a problem with simply talking without stammering like a fool?
