It's a mixed bag of feelings today for me. while I would love for this show to make it, banishing sherrod to some shitty cable channel hellhole and away from our shitty radio hellhole as long as possible... It's just not going to happen. A whole episode of "Black people be like" by sherrod? Who's comin back for episode 2?
What exactly dos Sherrod have to offer the modern discussion on race relations in America? What discussion is necessary? Black failure is pretty much entirely on blacks at this point, we're so far removed from institutional racism that there is nothing holding young blacks back but their own shitty culture and attitudes.
Maybe in some poor areas and parts of the south they have to deal with extra shit from the cops and employers but honestly I still think its mostly on them. Even poor Hispanics don't have as many problems as them.
