Clip Request - Ant accidentally sends "cunt" text to Opie on-air

Title explains it. Thanks gang.

EDIT: Is "Greggshells" the first episode of Ant's show that he bashed Opie on? I feel like there's one before that after their initial twitter jabbing.

Didn't happen on air, hen.

What was the context then? I could have sworn I've heard the clip before.

Didn't happen on the air. Happened before the show. Opie walked out and the show played Best Of for 30 minutes. This is the show https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4XwyMWJA0Q4

Thank you sir, I don't know why I thought it was on-air.

It's alright. We can all be silly geese from time to time.

He ran away from the bad man rather than confronting him, like a man.

Like Anthony did for 20 years.

A brutal veteran would just unfollow him on Twitter as a punishment

Fuck, I miss hearing street fighting man.

Yeah, should've just texted someone about it.

Apparently there was a huge bust up before the show, but Opie seems kind of normal at the start of this. Are you sure this is the show?

That Opie part is from the Best Of part. The actual show starts at 36:00 in.

Ah thanks. So is there any point in listening to it? does anything happen?

I think the show Ant and Jimmy did was very good. However, if you're just wanting to hear anything about the fight, then it's not worth listening to.

You want context on a clip you heard that didnt air

He might talk about it there. Or greggshells pt. 2

It definitely wasn't talked about on air when it happened.

People were watching on paltalk, saw there was some sort of fight, and then came here to talk about it...but I don't think it was ever recorded/posted

thats why he requests the clip, it wasnt broadcasted so he wants to listen to it. You big dummy!

While we're at it, can you find me the footage of Lincoln's assassination?

Scott Shannon covered that a while aģo

There's a bullet in my hat!

the episode opie walked out of was awesome

On-air? Or you do you mean the one SaveUsNick linked?

the linked one

Happened before the show on paltalk

So did the FH Rileys twitter trashing and the "cunt" text culminate the same morning? I thought they were two separate incidents but now what I gather is:

Ant trashed FH Rileys on twitter over the weekend for making him wait and giving him shitty service, and then on Monday Opie had some words for Ant. During or after their argument, Ant meant to send the text to Jim that said something like "he's being such a cunt" but it went to Opie instead and then it got really heated and Opie walked out, paving the way for great Nopie shows Monday - Wednesday that week.

Is that a correct summation?

I believe the text was something along the lines of "The little cunt won't even look at me"

yeah that sounds more correct.

Then Opie came in Thursday to Opie-up the Tarantino interview

Thank goodness.

Ant claims the text was meant for his girlfriend, but Opie suspects that it was meant for Jim.

I was never clear on the exact timeline but that sounds right. What I want to know is how a sober Anthony managed to text Opie by mistake. Was Opie the last guy he texted or something? Unless he was texting Opie at the same time as the intended recipient of the cunt text, I don't even understand how it happened.

Wasn't the text "The little cunt won't even look at me"?

Wasn't this around the time Danny was fired, too? Or am I getting my Opie tantrums wrong?

When Opie came back later that week he started by saying him and Ant had a fight and that Danny was fired.

Yeah I remember him just casually mentioning it in a "some big stuff happened, back to business" type of way.

Danny was not fired by Opie. He was fired for winning a one direction competition and trying to bring a tranny to the show as his +1.

Not making this up. It's what happened. He was apparently very disrespectful to Greenstein when he was confronted about it and he was fired because of that. Greenstein said that Danny was the most disrespectful person he had ever encountered.

Yes we all listen to the show

Awh did I make you feel insecure?

Someone said the argument was on PalTalk briefly for the first five minutes before the audio was silenced and then the feed disconnected. You could apparently see Opie and Anthony yelling at each other while the audio was still silenced and prior to that when the audio was up they were passive-aggressively arguing.
