The original Philly Crew Thrashing video

I have only followed O and A since 2013 and this sub for just a few months. I'm going to break down what I think the original (pre Breuer) video was about. Please correct me and fill in any blanks.
The Philly crew is either Opies in laws through his wife of I think Opie might have some family there too. So the people in the video are one of these or a mix.
It was Opie's wedding and he got film of this Crew doing some choreographed nonsense reminiscent of something "the cool kids" in high school would put together. Opie posted this video to his YouTube channel unironically, thinking these people were so cool on his big day.
This sub mocked it. What am I missing?
