Somebody asked Opie what he did on the show so Opie petulantly "stopped working" for around 10 or 15 minutes. Ant was there with Bill Burr. They did good radio but when Opie "came back" they had to swear up and down how terrible it was.

Listening to those right now. Opie keeps saying how he'll purposely not do his part on the show but he just keeps talking and being annoying. His ego won't even let him shut up to prove a point. His only "move" is to put shitty callers on and not hang up, and then whistle over it like he's just relaxing.

A couple years ago I came across a clip, I think it's either this one or maybe this one where they all listen to some old Opie clips. After a while Opie starts screaming that he's a worthless nothing. It got so uncomfortable, I couldn't listen any further and it was the first clue I got that maybe the Opster wasn't as cool as he portrayed himself to be.
