That's pretty much the formula for an Opie anecdote. Says a lie, flounders a bit, says he doesn't care if anyone believes him once he realizes it sounds like he's telling a lie, compares himself to Howard in some obscure way, hilarity ensues...
I love how hard he tries to sell it by saying 'The first one was AMAZING!' after insisting that he knew what Patrice meant. Like the first one would have 'returns' in the title.
I like how he said they were going to lock him up for his performance of joker because that's how psychotic and crazy he was and then the next day they announced the movie was going to be PG 13.
I'm a big fat nerd who loves some Batman, I thought those movies sucked. They need to do a legit dark Batman movie with the Joker slicing some throats and shit.
I'm so disappointed Suicide Squad got a PG-13 rating. Also I think it's a testament to Ledger how good he was being in a PG-13 movie. He didn't need to be cutting throats to be a man to be reckoned with.
To be fair to Opie, they had had this same conversation before, where Patrice discussed why Batman Begins is the best superhero film of all time. Its possible Opie was saying "yes" because he knew where he was going with it.
