Just saw Joey Diaz and Eleanor Kerrigan in Philly

Fuckin hilarious. I never heard Joey's stand up and I had never heard of Eleanor Kerrigan but it was one of the best shows I've ever seen.

They were both great. This sub has been devoid of good comedy for awhile and it was refreshing to see some genuinely funny shit. The girl is without a doubt the funniest female comic I've ever seen live. Edgy material that wasn't preachy or 'oh look at my vagina' type stuff. If any of you peckas are in the area I definitely recommend checking this show out.

Me too. I actually kind of hated him for years, but his stand up is "undeNYable," as Barry Katz would say. I became a fan of him overnight the first time I ever saw him live, part of a bigger line up. He's one of the best openers and hosts in the business, he turns a room upside down immediately. He's great.
