Yeah it was pretty damn good. Most comedy specials are horrible and give you little feel for what it would be like to see the guy in a club. At least from this, I would know I'm gonna laugh and have a good time when he comes into town.

Every few minutes I would think, damn that sounds like Dave Attell. There were a few other things he did that completely reminded me of other people. I thought it was pretty good, except it seemed like nearly the last half was talking about dick size.

He said on Joe Rogan (I think it was) recently that Dave is a huge influence and he knows he talks like him, etc. As for the dick thing, Jay really needs to move on from that crutch, he talks about it constantly on LOS, and compulsively on The Bonfire. He's hilarious, but it's like that one part of him is stuck in middle school (well, and the musical taste), and it's just boring after 20 minutes talking about a guys hog / dangle / piece and then the next 20 minutes trying to get a woman to send in nude photos.

Can someone impersonate Big J in text-form right now? I remember seeing someone do one for the Bonfire that was 10/10.

I think Jay's shitty/lack of education hamstrings him. His jokes would hit harder if he had a bigger vocabulary and a better sense of timing.

All things being equal, every episode of "The Bonfire" I've heard blows this away.
