The latest two things that annoy me about Opie

A couple things over the past while that I have found incredibly annoying:

  1. Mentioned briefly on today's brilliant installment of the excellent series, "Greg's Contributions to Today's Show", the fucking gorilla question. "As a father, wouldn't you be all in?". Ugh.

  2. Something I started noticing a while back... When someone makes (what Opie feels is) an obscure reference, he says, "That's a good pull!". I believe it was V. Henley that dropped that one first. Obviously Opie thought it sounded cool. Sad when your material is being spawned by Vic.

Two things that bother me about Opie: 1) inhaling; and 2) exhaling.

"That guy's kid was ALL IN with that alligator."

The word "pull" is new to him but not this praising habit. Throughout the old shows Anthony and Jim will be riffing movie lines back and forth and after a not-specifically-obscure line is thrown out, he'll do the same thing. And I don't know if I'm just blinded by hate when it comes to Opester but I really think he doesn't know what movie/show/book they're referencing about 90% of the time so he contributes by praising their funny lines, killing the momentum in the process.

I guess I just never noticed before. But man, he's a fucking moron.

That or when they're riffing in general and Jimmy gets an especially funny line out Opie will say "That's the one!" like he was just waiting for a gem to change the topic. In reality, he only notices it's really funny when everyone else reacts, because as you stated, the man is an absolute moron.

opie's a sponge and has been steeping himself in diarrhea.

What about when someone in studio plays a song and he goes "That's Alright" trying to play it cool.

Not if its jokes about how Vic is Ellen Degeneres on female hormones
