I think the worst part about Cluck in the AM with the Opster is his udder lack of a planned show. He has neither the brains nor the comedic talent to improvise ( and he fucking knows it by now, he's been doing this since he was 18 ).

But let's accept for the moment that I'm wrong and he does plan his shows ahead of time ( topics, bits, questions for guests etc ). This utter amateur production is the fruits of his labors. Either way it's embarrassing. I would say he should go in October but the truth is he's no worse than the majority of his hack contemporaries out there, we just hate his guts because he was covered in gold dusted shit for a decade before it all got shat out of his fat ass.

Leno is good at this. Same reason why he got The Tonight Show over Letterman. He was willing to go out and kiss ass with the affiliates. He's extremely likeable in this role, but I think he stinks as a comedian.

Yeah, I was impressed with Leno. He can hold his own. There is a reason why people like Leno, Letterman and Conan had their own talk shows and Jim, Opie and Ant had a radio show.

Personally i like Leno over Letterman, Leno had the same quality of show for the entire time he was on NBC, Letterman apprently fissled out somewhere, because outside of the top ten bit, Letterman sucked the last 10 years.

Most young people might not like him for taking Conan's place, but Conan is the one with the stupid fucking agent who couldn't get a strong enough contract. Also Conan to this day had the shittiest ratings on the tonight show, Fallon beat him immediately.

Conan's been a hack for the last 5 years too, he sucks. he manages to only make one funny bit a month at best. they clearly pay Conan too much, no one watches his show, they should just have him online completely.

Plus i am into cars like Leno and he was extremely original back in the 1970s, i mean there is a reason he was hired. Letterman changed everything. People didn't say things like "Who would watch this crappy show?" before Letterman did it. He did strange and creative shit like allow Chris Elliot to totally derail his show. Letterman was the perfect mix of a great sense of humor, and the awareness that it was just a stupid talk show. Colbert is failing miserably trying to fill his shoes. I'm totally indifferent in regards to Leno. Havent watched him enough to give a specific criticism, just never found him particularly funny.

He was on late-night network television - what did you want from him? GG Allen level antics? Even still, he puts Jim Norton on his show, and that was not playing it, "safe." He consistently destroyed his competition, and was so dominant that he took TNS back to number one after that seven-foot ginger faggot destroyed NBC's golden goose. He is, by all measures, the best at what he did.

This was most evident right after the O&A split when Larry was on and didn't know Ant was gone before he came in. Within 2 minutes it turned into King interviewing Opie about the split and getting very insightful answers from him.

Most people in some form of show business who have the slightest bit of self-respect tend to be embarrassed being in a room with Opie and Jim.

I was just speculating on the reason Leno was getting positive feedback on this sub, the sub that attacks almost every comedian aside from a select few, judging by Leno's humor I figured he'd be viciously attacked so I was surprised.
