No one looks at Sherrod's wikipedia so no one will ever remove it.

I used to edit the Stangels brothers wikipedia and it would be up for months until I would post it here then it would get deleted within hours. I think we have snitches among us.

Couldn't have been someone from this sub. They called Kurt Metzger a comedian. No one here would ever call him that.

And no comments about coke or cucks? 100% suspect and 3000% gay.

That was probably already there. And whether you think theyre funny or not the title of "comedian" isnt debatable if they make a living doing stand up comedy.

I once got paid 20 bucks to do some impressions and tell jokes to my former coworkers so I guess I can claim the title of comedian since I received compensation.

When you pay your bills doing comedy, pay yearly taxes based on that money, and have specials that air on comedy central, and you wouldnt just call yourself one, it would literally be your job title.

Well I'm a professional comedian now so don't bother me with your civilian trivialities.

you can say he's not funny, but to act like the title of comedian is up in the air or not is just stupid, and obviously you dont meet the criteria that he meets

Ahh you poor unworthy civilian. Away with your nonsense.

you realize how douche-chill inducing it is to say that someone paid you 20 dollars to do impressions? this is one of the stupidest arguments ive ever heard anyone make, its a fact that he makes a living doing comedy, what is there to argue about that? youre just dumbly saying he doesnt because youre bitter over something he said

I never said he doesn't make a living or that he isn't a comedian. He just isn't a funny comedian in my eyes and the eyes of a bunch of other people here so I said that no one here could have been behind altering Sherrod's wiki page because none of us would have called him a comedian because we don't care for him.

I was 17 and paid 20 bucks to do a few impressions and crack some jokes at a store employee function. My manager and coworkers all thought I was funny and a higher up was going to be there so they asked me to do it and when I said no the manager paid me 20 bucks. 17 and I made 20 bucks for about 5-10 minutes? Pfftttt nothing douche chilling about that. But since I was paid to perform comedy technically I can claim I am a comedian. And I did kill by the way. Laughter from start to finish.

Don't be jealous civilian.

everything douche chilling about that. thats either a lie or straight up the faggotiest thing i have ever heard. what kind of impressions did they want you to do? did you take requests? what employee laughed the hardest?

At the company thing I did Mr. T, Beavis and Butt Head, Mr. Burns, Ronald Reagan, generic Russian accent, generic French accent, Sean Connery, generic Irish and British accent, some southern accents, the Church Lady and a few others I can't remember because I pretty well stopped doing the accents back in my mid 20's so I don't really remember all that I could do. Took no requests because I did my own stuff, jokes and skits with the different voices. Couldn't tell you who laughed the hardest because it's been 28 years.

Call it douche chilling if you want but I was 17, had to attend a boring company get together and got paid 20 bucks to be there. So it was great for me. And it made my manager happy and had the new district manager laughing. So I scored some brownie points that helped me out later on.

But since you only seem to like high brow humor, I'll go snort a pile of coke before I respond to you next time just like your hero Kurt does. I am sure that will have you rolling on the floor with hearty guffaws.

yeeck, that store meeting sounds like one of the worst things of all time. i dont know where you get that kurt is my hero though, im just sick of seeing that comment "how can he call himself a comedian!?"(mostly on youtube, I figured it was 18 year olds) on a lot of stand up videos. Just because you dont like them doesnt make their job title less of a fact.

Any company function you are basically told you have to attend is a shitty thing. So I made the best of it, got some laughs and made 20 bucks for doing what I would normally have done free.

I never said Kurt isn't a comedian. I personally think he isn't funny and he overestimates his popularity and influence. He doesn't need to be condescending and call people "civilians" like he's doing some kind of difficult job. Anyone with the ability to make people laugh and the desire to do so can go to an open mic night and be a comedian. You can't just walk into a hospital and perform surgery. go into a police station and start solving crimes, go into a physics lab and find the answer to dark matter. His job is not that special ultimately. So he needs to climb off his high horse and admit that.

I honestly feel like there are about 30 guys on here who could get up on stage and make a crowd laugh.

It sounds shitty because of those hack impressions and the employees laughing at them. But people that make a living doing comedy are actually a LOT more rare than doctors and police officers, and a lot of comics call non-comics civilians. Kurts not the first to do it and its a simple way to clarify that detail if its relevant to what theyre talking about, it was never meant to insult or offend people. There are probably a lot of people that could get on stage and make them laugh, but not all of them put the work in and actually do it.

I made a crowd of people laugh so miss me with that hack shit.

And since Kurt writes for a show that has stolen sketches and is hosted by a comedian who has been proven to be a joke thief, how much work does he really put into it? His twitter and reddit rants are inane and boring and not the least bit funny and are the definition of hack bullshit. So if a "professional" comedian can only muster up that shitty effort then his act must be a true bore.

wow....you are really stupid.

Pot and kettle my civilian friend. Pot and kettle.

youre proud of your mr. t impression but tweets that arent even stand up are "the definition of hack bullshit", and it doesnt take any work to get in to the position of writing for a TV show? you let a comic offend you without even having heard their standup, doesnt get much more stupid than that.

Pot and kettle.

Dumbass.

Pot and kettle.

Was he really on Tough Crowd?

I remember him in a skit as a basketball player but never as a guest comic as far as I know.

Oh alright, I didn't remember him being on the panel. Thanks man.

Sorry I'm new here. What happened with the sherrod/normand incident? Are they still feuding?

This is all you need to know. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lmSFOlwQhrc

Hahaha that's great
