I've been loving the Misery Loves Company podcast. This sub made me aware of it and Kevin Brennan from his appearance/feud thing with LOS. He's pretty great.
Podcasts: Sleepycabin (although it appears to be ending pretty soon) and Painkiller Already.
Audiobooks: A lot of Stephen King, mainly the Dark Tower Series and its related novels (The Talisman, Black House, Insomnia, Everything's Eventual, The Stand...). The Game of Thrones series narrated by Roy Dotrice.
As far as comedy goes, you could try High and Mighty, My Dumb Friends, Last Podcast on the Left, and Bill Burr's Monday Morning Podcast is usually funny. Also, if you do like LOS, then you should try the Real Ass Poscast, which I never wanted to give a try, but is surprisingly good. As for the first couple of shows I mentioned, I don't recommend any specific episode, just look for one with a topic or guest you enjoy.
As for non-comedy podcasts Hardcore History is a great listen, I'd start with Blueprint for Armageddon or Wrath of the Khans, but they are quite long and take a while to come out. Definitely worth it even if you find history boring, but its length might not be for you. Radiolab is one of the best produced and most interesting shows period.
Depending on the app you use, I recommend searching for shows by podcast networks or by most listened to by genre. That more or less garuntees that the quality of its sound will be good, and it's moderately well put together

Live from the Laugh Factory with Dom Irrera is good provided the irritating owner of the club doesn't crash the episode.

There was a good episode where Burr gets into an argument with Masada, the owner. Irrera is solid.

Uninformed is pretty good, Bill Burr and Sigh Joe Derosa but Burr spends a good portion of time ripping Joe a spare arsehole for being a bitch.
