What kind of faggot takes a day off for his birthday?

Opie and Anthony, that's who. I run my own, small company. If one of my employees asked to take a day off work because it was their birthday I'd oblige, on condition that they got a box and put their things in it. After 18 or 21, your birthday's just another day.

One of these days, a disgruntled employee will bring a shotgun to work and will target you for not wishing him a happy birthday.

Call it a sick day or a personal day then. "Birthday" is embarrassing.

u hiring btw?

Haha, no. Wrong side of the Atlantic too. Course I wouldn't really fire any of my 7 employees if they asked for their birthday off. Was more a slam at Opie. It just seems like a childish and narcissistic thing to do, especially for someone over the age of 21. You think they're asking for birthdays off in Shanghai or Mumbai today? Or in the US in 1950, or Britain in 1880?

Lol yeah I get that, I dont think birthdays should even be acknowledged at all after but I can relate with finding any excuse whatsoever to miss work, and since they talked on the radio for 4 hours a day, they were just honest to the fans about the reasons the werent there. I hate Opie more than anything but I'll give them a pass for that even though its stupid. btw my username is a lie I live in NY if ur ever hiring :)

I agree. Shit, I forgot how old I was on my last birthday.

This is why i love working for a big publicly traded corporation. The founders family died out in the 30's an the place is no one person's dream or baby and no one really gives a shit about whether it succeeds or fails. Everyone does just enough work not to be fired and everyone takes off at the slightest opportunity.

Here at Panera Bread we try to give our employees their birthdays off unless it's absolutely impossible, it helps keep morale up. You sound like a torturous slave-driving prick and your employees probably wish daily you'd kill yourself.

I'd put you in a fuckin' box, boss if I don't get my birthday off.

Your birthday is always on Friday and Saturday night once you grow up and get a job. Sunday is for recovering and eating bad.
