On that Late Summer's Night in 2006, Do You Think Ant Had Any Idea How Far He'd Fall?

Looking at the banner graphic at the top of the sub of Ant and his bald spot talking to Letterman on top of the world, do you think he had any clue what-so-ever within ten years he'd be a pariah in the entertainment and comedy worlds who would be reduced to running his own podcast, he'd be up on two felony and two misdemeanors for beating up his girlfriend, he'd have lost his guns, he'd have lost his alcohol, he'd have lost his Xanax, he'd have lost his heterosexuality?

I remember the broadcast after Letterman, they had E. Lo on talking about how the sky was the limit. How this is a great story for the autobiography Opie and Anthony were supposedly writing. How they could foresee a day where eventually they'd have Howard Stern on in their studio.

Yeesh.

Yes. Opie has plummeted as well. But, resorting to being a hacky, morning zoo type host who is still gainfully employed would be an easier future to consider than the dumpster fire Anth's life has become.

You summarize this man's life as if he's Orson Welles. He's long Island trash that got a break

Fair enough.

Rollercoasters dont coast 'up.'

It makes the perfect ending to that autobiography.

You're quite long-winded.

A tragic downfall such as this could not be wrapped up in a few pithy lines, good sir.

How bout that howling from the Opester?

Opie was awful on Letterman. He was even worse on Leno.
