I depart from this sub in that I still like the Bonfire but just really want them to stop having Mike Finoia on it. Being Big Jay's roommate shouldn't be a license to ruin my entertainment. I was so happy when LOS recently started goofing on Mike for following Jay around everywhere.
I still like the Bonfire as well, but I wish Jay would stop steam rolling over Soder so much. He does it on Legion of Skanks too, but at least there whatever he's saying has a 99% chance of being funnier than what Luis or Dave Smith would've said. Soder on the other hand is effortlessly hilarious.
He says things incredibly infrequently to little or no reaction. I mostly forget he's there when he's on, so it should be fine, except then I get distracted thinking "why is he even there?"
"Ruining my entertainment" is an overstatement. He doesn't say much. You're right: I'm just constantly reminded of how weird it is that Big Jay is too polite to tell his roommate that he can't third-mic his radio show for no reason.
