There were always forums, usenet, chat rooms, etc., for people who wanted to share interests, meet, or argue with strangers. I like her, I think she's funny. She's had a reputation for being kind of unnecessarily intense and confrontational. While she was a writer for Chelsea Handler she had a meltdown at one of her parties that she's talked about publicly, and those are her friends. I wouldn't be surprised if she just isn't as visible these days because people don't want to work with her.
