Does Opie have cancer?
0 2016-05-10 by 867-5309-
On Tuesday morning, while interviewing Tom Brokaw, Opie said "a good friend of mine" recently learned that he has cancer. After thinking about it I realized that Opie doesn't have any known good friends (although he used to enjoy Good Friends cereal) therefore: Is it probable that Opie was referring to is Gregg Hughes?
Whomever it is, you can beat this cancer and we all wish you a swift victory and a healthy future.

Hope so! But as I recall, Brother Wease had some kind of cancer years ago, so perhaps it has returned. And he's Opie's only friend.

Do you consider Brother Wease to be a good friend of Opie?
Edit: Opie suggested that the diagnosis was unexpected which might eliminate Wease as a suspect.

"'Brother Wease got the C? Ya kiddin!"

Thats true, forgot about Wease, and that Opie thinks they are good friends....

I think it's more likely Opie is pretending to have a friend with cancer because it's very difficult for Opie to come up with interesting things to talk about. He is a blackhole.

No way, he would've already made every single show about him.
Oh wait...

While no one would ever call themselves Opie's Good Friend, I'm sure he thinks 90% of the people he knows are his good friends. Like the school kid desperate for anyone, so everyone is his best friend. See: the hundreds of "friends of the show" of which we now just get Sherrod, Distefano, Normand and Henley.

Where are we at with metastatic cancers?

interesting take...if there is an O&A on air reunion at either TACS or SXM, I bet thats the indication things are not expected to last long.

I'm not so sure. Have any of the Housewives or Kardashians recently been diagnosed with cancer? (Opie lies and exaggerates; he
maylikely thinks of them as good friends...definitely feels closer to them than he does Jimmy.)3 chipperjonesing 2016-05-10
The sudden balding and budding bosoms are signs of cancer growing inside you.

No, it's in his baby dick and once they remove it, his tits will get bigger.

Paraphrased-
Can we be serious for a second? Can we be serious for just one second? Seriously! This is Gregg Hughes, the actor that plays Opie on the radio...
That faggot actually thinks he's two different people

A good friend of mine works at New York Presbyterian and said Opie came out of his latest mammogram looking very upset. Thoughts n' prayers, prayers n' thoughts.

I can't wait for O&J to become 3 hours of stem cell research discussion. Maybe that paralyzed Opie bit was prophetic but just a tad bit off...
