There was a preview for that AWFUL Samantha Bee show on TBS and she made a joke that went like, "Well, maybe there would be more funny women if every time they talked someone didn't try to shove their BLEEP in their mouth!" crowd cheers
This shit is so vile. I don't feel like I'm living in the real world anymore.
It's a clever premise and a pretty funny execution. It also strongly implies that threatening to rape and kill online is a common male practice. Even the civilized host is doing it. "It's for everyone", it's just a reincarnation of the deceptively innocuous-looking "you're fat". It's a basic sentiment men express towards women.
In terms of sweeping generalizations, the equivalent is a bit implying that gun violence is common among black people (premise: placing untraceable guns dispensaries in black neighborhoods). For some reason I don't see them going for that last bit though.
I wouldn't have a problem with a show that generalizes across the board, or one that avoids it altogether. Not a big fan of selective social sensitivity though.

No offense, but I wouldn't rape Amy Schumer.

if twitter made a button like that i would actually consider making an account.
If there's no dislike button to show any kind of utter disgust then a 'rape and kill' button would suit me fine

Obviously, I'm only speaking for myself.
