Do we really need to be reminded of the scam known as Twitchels? Opie in the mafia is more believable than his act was. The tourette's guy who'd scream "ASS!" on Youtube looked more authentic.
He was on air without his knowledge on Lazlow's show, completely fine. Then Lazlow said they were on air and he immediately started the noises. I don't think O&A brought him on again after that, and when his name was mentioned years later Anthony groaned.
Weird how when Big-A and Twitchels did the news, Twitchels was somehow able to magically keep all his tics inside of him, apart from one every minute to keep up the facade.
Then when it was Twitchel's turn to do the news, he starts fucking chirping and squawking like an entitled aids patient on a government healthcare plan
If the guy really had tourettes, it wasn't as severe as he led on and it's clear listening to a few of the full shows with him that he selectively changed the intensity or how much he was holding back his tics if he even had them at all. It seems a lot of people here don't think he had them to begin with, myself included.
Oh well I'm not bashing you for buying it or anything. I assumed he was real for the first few shows I heard with him, It's just that creeping feeling you get after listening for a while that something may not be what it seems and I guess a lot of people got that with him.
He still made for good radio when Patrice was in though.
