I wanna put Opie in a lab & have scientist study his brain, it one thing to lie but this is something all together different. So he says he punched the guy really hard in the face & there was absolutely no consequences even though he assulted someone at a festival who works there & the guy he just violently assaulted only response was 'hey I don't want any problems' and returned his money & his date didn't seem to mind the violent overreaction! Really… I've been to street festivals in real rough neighborhoods & never seen such a thing & its beyond absurd to claim he assaulted a festival vendor like he's Joe Pesci in Goodfellas & didn't get arrested or his ass kicked by the guy and/or the other vendors who would've been in close proximity
Notice how no one reacts to his story. If Sam, Jim, Anthony, Travis, Patrice, Bobby, Burr, Louis, etc would've said that they punched a guy then everyone would've made them tell the story in detail. They hear opie's bullshit and brush right over it. This happens a lot with his stories and he always has to assure people that they're true stories. That must be a radio guy thing, like saying the time at the top of the hour.
You know how Jimmy and Anthony have stories that they've told 5-10 times over the years because they're especially ludicrous? Funny how this story was a one time deal.
