I believe during the fight he said "I really, really like doing radio with you, Jimmy," clearly and obsequiously hoping for Jimmy to say "I like doing radio with you too, Op." That validation never came.

It was after the fight. And he said exactly that, repeatedly. The clip is what I'm looking for.

He did it recently. I forgot the context, but Jim made a joke about their show or chemistry, something to that affect, and instead of laughing, Opie has to make sure Jimmy was only joking.
