Can someone explain east side Dave to me? Was he like a Bobo or Lady Di on Ron and Fez. I only hear clips of his show on Cumia's weekly podcast. It's just a bunch of yelling. Doesn't seem to be any jokes. Is he in on it, or is he just another retard spectical?

Special Delivery starring Sam & Dave was awesome. When Dave is in character being wacky he needs a straight-man to play off of and Sam was great at it. Pepper did a good job on The Davey Mac Sports Program in that role as well. I think his show on Cumia is wall to wall wackiness. I wish they would slow it down and take the time to have actual conversations with a point like he used to on Ron and Fez and Special Delivery. I imagine that's probably what he does everyday on his morning show so he just wants his Cumia Network show to be bonkers. Roy is a very talented musician but the show is bogged down with way too many songs and conversations with flutesy etc that go nowhere.

He was basically a watered down Christ Stanley on the mic, and a variant Radio version of Steve O. Never liked him on the radio, still don't see how people love him enough to listen to just him scream about nothing.

He's not terrible though when he's not trying to play some weird character. He's fairly interesting and funny when he's being himself, but his over the top act is off putting.
