Has Colin ever talked about his Remote Control days?

I'd love to hear the boys tear into him for his energetic dancing and cheerful inflection.
I'd pay to watch Colin cringe at his 30-year-old-trying-to-be-20-year-old self

He touches on those days in his latest book. I recommend it.

Coloring Book? The book that Opie asked if it was an actual coloring book?

He actually said that? As if I needed another reason to bash a brick into the side of his head.

He did a serious sit-down interview discussing this time in his life.

I think you've misplaced the link, that's actually an Opie video. If you could fix the link with the correct video I'd appreciate it!

I remember he said it was during these days when he'd smoke a pack a day and you can really hear it in his voice in those old clips (Goin' back to Brooklyn)

He said he could have banged any 'young 13 year old boy' during the Remote Control days!

For me, the most intriguing part about that pre-SNL phase of Colin's career is that in 1983, he co-starred with Judd Nelson in a musical comedy called 'Rock N' Roll Hotel' that was for many years considered a lost film. There allegedly exists only one copy of said film, which has been screened occasionally, for the first time since the 80s, during the past couple years.
Needless to say, it is one of my main goals in life to one day view this in its entirety so that I can see an early 80s, cable-TV personality Colin embarrassing himself alongside Bender from Breakfast Club. It sounds like this might be for CQ what 'The Day the Clown Cried' is for Jerry Lewis.

It was raised when some of his former colleagues were interviewed on O&A in his presence. The Worm was low on spitefulness that day, apparently.

He was too busy showing former v. j. 's how smart he is by pretending to read and love their book.

I remember around the time Ken Ober died, he mention it a bit, but they weren't long segments. just a few lines here and there.

He talked about it on his Unmasked with Ron. He's pretty critical of his artistic pretension at that time.
