Opie And Jim Have No Chemistry

Opie interacts with Jim poorly and doesn't know how to make him laugh. Opie no sells Jim's characters. The amount and severity of Opie interruptions is crazy. Opie stomps on Jim as much as 5 or 6 times a minute. Likewise, Jim has nothing in common with Opie. Jim thinks Opie is unfunny and Jim does not know how to be funny to Opie. Sometimes Jim spends a full show as a Serious and Intellectual character that I think of as Profound James. The hour long suicide segment is a great example of Jim not being funny because he's not even trying to be. Ant and Jim work well but Opie and Jim don't "click" on any level despite working together for about 10 years.

I'd love to hear some of opies back and forth banter with the Philly crew. Just a couple of working class fellas enoying fruit flavored beer having a laugh at someone elses expense (not opies) and just enjoying life the old fashioned way.
