I really wish they wouldn't even try with that stupid green screen. People sitting around on couches just talking in a real room is 100% better that whatever nonsense they project on the green screen.
I gotta disagree. Take Joe Rogan's show for example; I hate seeing all the clutter in the background of the video, it's an eyesore. I'd much prefer even a silly little NYC background than a bunch of clutter.
It doesn't have to be cluttered, but it should be real. Atmosphere is important when you're trying to get people to have off-the-cuff conversations. Sitting in at a table in front of a massive green screen is not really conducive to natural conversation, and it could be part of the reason why a lot of Anthony's shows have been so flat. A well-designed set is way less awkward for everyone involved.

It works even better if you're sharing media and putting pictures up like other shows. Problem is they still bumble and wait like 15 seconds before they can show the YouTube video they're referencing.
They really need to get rid of it. I can't imagine it'd be that expensive to build a set, it only needs to be done once. The show will never ever have /comfy/ appeal with that fucking awful greeen screen.
