Wordpress is fine, it's pretty commonly used and is a decent CMS. The only thing I'd be concerned about is how often they update it and install updates, for security measures. Considering how open that one RSS feed was, I'm gonna guess: "not often".
Most mutants here would be too stupid to know how to use an exploit like a script kiddie, never mind create their own zeroday. However what might be in their wheelhouse is that now they know the production guys are signed into the wp administration section, so they might be able to phish the production guys to steal session cookies or do a csrf on one of the plugins loaded into wp that have no csrf protection.
Mutant here: I have no clue what the fuck you guys are talking about. That being said I'm not computer retarded so I could probably learn but I'd rather just watch the occasional clip posted here
Wordpress is used for just about everything from blogs to E-commerce sites. You'd be surprised at how many organizations use it. I hope you didn't spend too much time picking that out of the broadcast cause one only needs to look at the source to figure out it's on Wordpress. Anyway I'm sure it works just fine for those 10's of users.

None of this will matter when the power goes out. All that will matter then is a gun and ammo.

WordPress is on 25% of all websites on the Internet you uncultured swine. Really digging for something to gripe about... Read a book.
