I'm barely literate so I don't know who Goad is and all of my ideas about society and human interaction were influenced by an overweight African American comedian who made appearances on a defunct morning radio show that I'm still obsessed with.

That being said I always just assumed Gavin turned on Fox news one night, saw Ann Coulter and thought, "Hey I can do that."

He's getting beat to that gig by a gay Greek.

Goad is his editor at Taki's Magazine. He also edited Gavin's blog site. I don't know if he still does because I got sick of Gavin and stopped reading it, but I remember Gavin crediting Goad for rewriting everything Gavin submits so he looks smarter than he is. Gavin is basically Goad's muppet since Goad hides from society.

I went through a Goad phase in high school, I was so edgy. Peter Sotos is so kewl.

Actually, he'd be the rich man's Jim Goad. Gavin is rich, Jim not so much.

I don't think Gavin is trying to be Jim Goad. He's just an unabashed fan of Jim's writing.
