But according to Kurt, Louis and all of the media. His show is like a modern Shakespeare, hell even quite a few people here said it was good. When will people here realize the Louis CK of the last 5 years isn't the same one from O&A, Louis ck would be horrified if stuff he did/said on O&A was leaked to the media.
Same reason Joe Rogan, Bill Burr and Jay Mohr are rarely ever heard on there any longer. THEY DON'T NEED IT. They don't go unless they are booked to promote something along with a dozen other sirius shows the same day. That's the bit.
Yeah podcasts really destroyed radio in terms of comedians, if comedian's want to shoot the shit they can do so without the fcc, and have been able to for awhile
There was that awkward time that he called into Ron and Fez. Not as a guest or Louis CK or anything. He just called in as some guy commenting on whatever topic until Ron recognized the voice. Uncomfortabiltiy followed and Ron kind of hangs up on him.
75% sure that was sarcasm, seemed less like it because no one laughed though. Louis has said here and there I can't put a finger on where, but that he mostly listens to Stern after dropping his kids off and has always been a longtime Stern fan since he got to NYC. That was probably a couple years ago 14/early 15 maybe
The way norton delivered it deadpan though, and it was out of place in terms of sarcasm compared to the rest of the show...but I have to say I wasn't 100% sure. Like it would be funnier sarcasm if he said Seinfeld or AL Pacino listens, but louis Ck listening isn't that crazy so it doesn't nesc. work as sarcasm so Im not sure Jim would try it, his stuff is usually broader. Anyways a bit over analyzed there but, it is what it is.
True I can't rule it out, it's possible, and I just caught it out of that full segment context. Either way even if he doesn't listen it's still a valid question you bring up there... he lives right in the city, he could even promote his Horace and Pete show and he still hasn't been in there for almost 1 year

He's said before on o&a that he'd listen to the show while dropping his kids off at school

Jim would know cos they're best buds, they go watch the guys fight all the time and Lou's always writing bits for him
Louis probably isn't on anymore because he's happy now and knows how unfunny it is to be that way
