It can't have escaped the notice of the courts that Anthony was drinking/drunk the night of the incident and since then he has been shown drinking on Vine and on his show. So he hasn't shown any sign of taking things seriously. Lawyer probably knew shit was going to go bad for him so he got him to voluntarily enter rehab. Not a coincidence the announcement comes the day before his next court appearance. Contrite Anthony goes to court and lawyer man announces that his client has voluntarily agreed to go to rehab.
