Fuck them. I'm not going to stand by and let some outsiders disrespect one of the most important parts of my life. It's spelled "Panera." With an "a" not an "e."
They seem to know more than we do(unless its just users from here) and it seems to be the common consensus that he's an "lolcow". Anyone have any idea what that means?
Lolcows are bizarre people/groups/events, that are on the Internet, and respond negatively to people in a funny way. They are not countries, political figures, celebrities, your highschool bully, or some random YouTuber that isn't a drama queen.
I sometimes think this is all staged. Looking at it from a bird's eye view. The OnA saga's got foreshadowing, a dramatic arc, a full cast of characters with character development.
Someone even made a "power rankings" list like it's Dragonball Z or something.
Kind of interesting to read. The one thing i see mentioned that i can't fully get in on is when people say that OnA created this culture. They didn't. That cringe type of humor, the making fun of people as a major source of content, were all things i did with friends that had a similar taste.
We'd go and hang out in front of a mall for example and, for shits and giggles, make fun of the people coming and going.
We'd even record us fucking with people so we could play it back later and enjoy it all over again. And none of us were off limits to getting shit on.
Idk, just sick of hearing that these fucks created this culture. It's already existed in small pockets here and there where like-minded people hung out.
So to me, OnA was just a throwback to my childhood, with some hilarious fan interaction thrown in. Goddamn I loved Jocktober
I think what most people would mean is that O&A took that culture into a more mainstream realm.... Like we all grew up shitting on friends for laughs, it's human nature. But it's a different thing to see that kind of hangout in a broadcast format. That's why it was unique in its day.
I know many of us shit on friends... We used to take that way further though. Recording events, purposely planning shit, or treating it like a hobby. That's what in referring to. For example, we'd take one of the weird family members from one of our families, and plan an entire night around asking purposely leading comments for our amusement, or something similar, and record the audio for others to enjoy. Of course that didn't stop at just frustrating people through conversation (think Jimmy's cat shit stories for starters).
Just saying it seems like some people haven't been exposed to this type of thing before. Some of us here did jocktobering before it was a thing. Either way I'm glad to find a buncha peckhas that like the same shit
