[shitpost] Idea for Jim's next special
0 2016-03-23 by MandrakesLeg
I just watched about 10 minutes of Demitri Martin's newest special on Netflix. Jim should just do the exact same jokes as Chip for his next special. I honestly don't even know what to make of it. They're not even jokes. It's just the uninteresting musings of a guy.
"Hey, what's the deal with pet birds? It's like what you got feathers or sumptin? tsssss"

I just checked on Netflix. Holy shit you're right. He has one joke that went something like "Why put a sign on a door that says 'Please use other door'. You're a door, you don't get to have a break cawksucka". tsss tssss

Yeah, I really wasn't exaggerating. And the crowd is all giggling like they just smoked a bunch of opium. I don't mind the guy that much. I think his past stuff has been clever in a Steven Wright kind of way, but holy shit.

No. Steven Wright is actually funny. Demetri Martin couldn't make a retarded three year old laugh.

I recently watched Jimmy Carr's special. He has a part where he talks about the Donkey Punch, Angry Pirate and many others.
I liked it.

I'm surprised by the universal hatred for Demetri. His latest special was pretty lazy as like 60% of the material was recycled from his previous special and his closing but was just a joke somewhere in the middle of his last one. But I've always thought a lot of his one-liners were pretty funny. Hmph.

I couldn't stand him since I first saw his comedy central special, before I started listenign to O&A. The barrage of one liners and the disinterested tone in his voice was annoying. He felt like a snobby Hedberg knock off.

He's got some good ones but he's gotta knock that guitar shit off.
