When the comics were on OnA Opie always acted like he's a super talented broadcaster who needs to direct the comics in the studio because he knows radio.

Now pretty much every single one of those comics hosts a podcast that is better than Opie's show. I wonder if he ever thinks about that.

Your assuming Opie thinks about stuff. It's like saying a plant thinks to position it's leafs toward the sun.

He's reptilian
7 GryllslyBear 2016-03-21
Reptilian's have more hair than that bald fuck Opie.

He's all in with the documentaries. Sniff

What's worse is the fact that he always believed that he was on the same level as them comedically. He would act like he could go toe-to-toe with vos, but in reality, vos could easily destroy him. Vos just knew that opie couldn't take the proverbial "hit", so he never bothered to go too hard on him. Same with Bobby and Colin.

He actually thinks he takes beatings too. If you listen to any of the shows that are just back and forth ripping everyone apart he'll always say shit like "maaan this room is brutal today you can't say ANYTHING" and "we all took a beating today!" When literally not a single joke got made at Opie's expense.

He has said to Steve and Erock, "we all take a turn in the barrel." Talk about gregshells.

During Paralyzed Opie (which was barely a beating) you can hear that he's getting increasingly offended and trying to change the subject. It all culminates in him going around the room saying "fuck you" to each person individually. Once the bit is over everyone acknowledges that "it was a rough one" (it wasn't) and "that was a long time in the barrel" (like 10 minutes).
Pretty fucking pathetic when you consider Opie's attitude to ripping on other people.

He thinks lots of those comedians say they were inspired by him so sniff.
8 PeckaSucka 2016-03-21
Which is kind of funny cuz they either say they were inspired by LFTC or the hangout vibe of the show. They say they love how there wasn't really a structure which Opie claims is what he brings to the show.
3 RPCulture 2016-03-21
Who says they were inspired by LFTC?
4 PeckaSucka 2016-03-21
Rogan

Wow, I thought Rogan did a podcast before AntH started streaming shitty karaoke from his basement.

Oh, so is that why most of these podcasts are fucking terrible?
1 blue_magoo_62 2016-03-21
ha. he brings a lack of something

Money is everything to this guy. Unless it's trending on the sidebar of Facebook, he doesn't know it exists so I doubt he even knows about any podcasts except the one where Anthony tore his ass up.

Respect is what matters to Opie, he is very insecure. Opie knows what people think about him so he pretends to be in charge and have inside info.
1 FaggotBannedKeith 2016-03-21
I agree because to Opie and the way he was raised, having money = respect.
4 Audibledogfarts 2016-03-21
He used to say he was a "student of comedy". Could be the worst thing he ever said.

I was just listening to the Pat Cooper appearance where Patrice was also in studio and Pat said something like "Ant, you've been carrying it for years". What was great was that there was no time for Greggshells because Pat is such a conversational juggernaut and they had already moved on.
2 RickVince 2016-03-21
Is that the one where he calls Opie the luckiest man in showbiz? Fucking hilarious.
0 EmptyMyBag 2016-03-21
Carrying what? I don't really get it.
5 RickVince 2016-03-21
The whole show.

Did Steve C commit suicide or did he die of something else. Never heard anyone say how he died.
3 OpiesBreasts 2016-03-21
yeessss, it was suicide. He hanged himself.
1 destinyaltboy 2016-03-21
His head would explode. But he does recognize it. Why do you think he can't handle even the slightest criticism?
1 superboss2015 2016-03-21
It's funny now looking back at the whole situation. Opie used to talk about how important and rich they were. Now it's becoming obvious that their contracts weren't nearly as big as they lead everyone to believe and management didn't give a crap if they left or not. Opie cries about celebs that got famous and never came back but did any of those celebs get big because of the show?
