The last U2 album was forced on us for FREE from Iphone. And people were furious about getting a free album.

I was one of the people furious about that free album. Only because anytime my car started, my Bluetooth would connect to the radio and the first song of that album would start playing. I had switched from an Android so I had no idea how to remove it at first.

How the fuck has Apple still not given owners an option to turn off the audio autoplay? I fucking despise it.

There's a documentary with Jimmy Page, Jack White and the Edge and having the Edge in it was just embarrassing. What a travesty.

Decent doc overall. The Edge literally says he's playing 1 note over and over and shows what the effects do when turned off, so I'll at least give him that he's highly self aware of it.

I liked them when they first came around when I was 14 in 1982. I've hated them ever since Joshua tree came out. The only song on JT that was any good was "Bullet" (which Sepulta does a cover of better than the original).

Holy shit, were you any good? Covering U2 is one thing, but nearly any Zappa song is pretty complex.

We were good playing a lot of the guitar standards ( bass, keys drum and guitar, it was nearly impossible when we added horns. But that was college, I didn't want to play anymore to crowd less events because not a lot of people my age know Zappa.

I hear you. I love Zappa and I don't want to hear a Zappa cover band. It usually has worked out better in friends bands to cover other stuff (or do originals) and throw in a more accessible / rocking Zappa song near the end of a set or on special occasions. I'd go see his son do the note by note covers though, since I know it would sound nearly identical musically.

I've seen dweezil and Zappa plays Zappa 4 or 5 times, they're amazing! One of the best shows I've seen for awhile.
