Remember when he would start talking in the middle of a caller's sentence, then act like he was the one cut off, then be shitty to that person for the rest of the call?
Or when his joke would get a zero, and he'd do that sullen passive-aggressive mumbling in the background : "mumble mumble, see, because, you wouldn't think someone would pay for that...that would be the funny part, where the laughs go..see...that's OK, I'll just sit here, you guys keep talking...I'll just push the buttons..". He would go on like this for literally MINUTES.
Or when he thought he was being so quirky/hilarious when he couldn't think of something and would go: "I heard about it on the uh...uh...uh...uh...uh...uh...uh...uh...uh...uh...uh...uh...uh...uh...uh...". Again, literally minutes at times, to the point where I've yelled "SHUT THE FUCK UP" at the radio.
He took a call once praising a line he made about some retard cooking. The caller said something like "they missed a great one, Opie said "and later I'm gonna make brownies in my pants"", then Opie tried to act humble when he took the call in THE FIRST FUCKING PLACE.
But better to be a guy who has settled in to a late career ease than be up on strangulation and wrongful imprisonment felony charges and being a douchebag that ripped off his fans for a terrible half-assed cartoon.
It seems like we have all come to realize that Opie may actually be a normal person when the mics are off. He goes home and gives zero thought to the show. He's also not typing until his fingers bleed on every form of social media and recording all aspects of his life.
I wouldn't say normal. He's the same dolt as he is on air. All those repetitive phrases we are sick of hearing are the same ones he uses at home. I'm sure his wife is sick of hearing " where are we at with xxxxx?" When asking about everything. I think people here are just eating up all the Ant drama at the moment since Opie is a consistent source of idiocy. They will return focus on him after this Ant/Joe shit dies off.

Don't get me wrong, he's still a massive cunt but we cannot ignore for any longer just how horrible Ant seems to be as a person in real life.
