That's how you're goin out? With a tangential tie-in to one of Scorsese's lesser movies. You went out like a bitch and nobody is going to care or appreciate your exit from comedy. You need to show the people something real to have any chance of being respected after everything we've found out about you.

Exactly. If he was a man he'd get his ass back here and give us a piece of his mind. His dead father thinks he's a real pussy.

I wouldn't call it one of his lesser movies, I mean it was all downhill after Casino.

All downhill after Casino? Gangs of New York, The Departed, The Aviator and Wolf of Wall Street were great movies. I mean, Casino was great too but it isn't like he started making shit. He made Oscar nominated/Oscar winning movies.

Wouldn't say he went to shit or anything but I thought there was a change of tone right around the time he developed his crush on Leonardo DiCaprio

Downhill from greatness is just "eh, pretty good", which is how I felt about those movies.

The Departed was phenomenal and so was Wolf of Wall Street.

You have low standards for "phenomenal".

Because you didn't like them as much? They were universally praised as being great movies and nominated for multiple Oscars. I'm not going out on a limb saying they were phenomenal movies. If you just look at the Rotten Tomato reviews Casino is an 80% and The Departed is 90%.

Justin Bieber is a grammy-award-winning platinum artist.

Think about that one for a second.

I think he sucks but he has an audience apparently. That doesn't change the fact that the viewer reviews for The Departed were higher than the viewer reviews for Casino.

Both amazing films

I agree. Casino and Goodfellas are 2 of my favorite movies of all time but I put The Departed up there with them.

I will watch the Departed everytime it is on. " Well, I'm the guy that tells you there are guys you can hit and there's guys you can't. Now, that's not quite a guy you can't hit, but it's almost a guy you can't hit. So I'm gonna make a fuckin' ruling on this right now. You don't fuckin' hit him. You understand? "

"Marty! Kundun...I liked it!"

Gangs of New York was ponderous shit. Garbage.

agreed, Daniel Day-Lewis and that other dude with the stick were the whole movie and their parts amounted to about 3min of that 2.5hr shit-fest.

Yes.

Departed is the only me worth mentioning in that list IMO. And it's mostly cause of Jack

French deserved an Oscar

I was ok with Aviator. It wasn't great, but it was decent.

Daniel Day Lewis as the Butcher was one of the greatest movie characters of that decade. You don't know what you're talkin about.

It's tough to pin a whole movie on one supporting character. He had 10 minutes of screentime out of a 12 hour monstrosity of boredom. Cameron Diaz was intolerably bad, and the plot made absolutely no sense.

Ten minutes of screen time? The guy was half the movie. He was co-starring with Leo. He wasn't some peripheral character. He was the co-main character. Did you even see the movie? Maybe the plot made no sense to you because you seemed to have missed 3/4 of the movie if you think the Butcher was barely in it.

No, he was not half the movie. You forget how long that fucking movie was and how much of it he had nothing to do with because the rest of it sucked balls.

And King of Comedy was way before Casino.

It sucked. Unwatchable. And you're retarded besides.

None of his posts have been funny. He just calls us idiots and morons a lot and laughs.

Mr. Faversham...
